The Lagoon
On 30" by 40" by 1.5" gallery wrapped canvas | Mixed Media
The Lagoon is an invitation to mentally step away from everything else. Clear blue water, lush green forms and sandy warmth come together as an imagined place where you can simply be. I used heavy-body acrylics to give the colors presence and dimension, allowing the surface to carry the brightness and depth of the scene without turning it into a literal landscape.
