Inner Reach II is about the moment when the act of creating becomes its own form of escape. I build the composition through layers, marks, color and texture, allowing the painting to evolve rather than forcing the final image from the beginning. The finished work invites you to slow down, look deeper and find your own sense of balance and calm within the layers.
